Gourmet1939 A taste of Spain
by Gourmet1939 15/02/2008 12:22:21
If you like Spanish food (or come to that, any food) you will enjoy this restaurant. The fish is to die for. It is always fresh. It varies every day depending on availability. The only drawback is that sometimes your choice is finished, but that helps to ensure the freshness. Then there are Tapas, which are small dishes of varied food (in Spain they would be on the bar for you to make a selection) There is always a good choice and you can have one dish or many. You can each order or you can, as we mostly do, share a selection. You can have another, and another .... The wine is good and not expensive. If you are feeling really stingy, you can eat for as little as £10 a head including a glass of wine, but it's difficult because of the temptations. More realistically £15-20 at lunchtime depending on drinks. and £20-40 in the evening.
