Sporting one of Portsmouth's most striking pub frontages, the Auckland Arms is a small, comfortable, one bar local, midway between Southsea Common and the shopping centre. Built for the local Long's Brewery in the 1880s, the pub provides a welcome retreat and is a good place to go for a quiet pint. This is the only surviving pub of its kind in this part of Southsea. Worth seeking out.
